The theme, 'Back to the Future: Taking a Generational Enterprise Legacy on a Journey of Disruption,' captures the fundamental tension facing Europe's great family enterprises: how to remain authentically themselves while adapting boldly to technological and market transformation.
Milan is home to many of Europe's most storied family businesses, from luxury goods houses to industrial conglomerates and family-controlled banks. That heritage creates a peer environment in which candour comes naturally — delegates are among equals who understand the weight of a family name and the complexity of multi-generational stewardship.
The forum's agenda is structured around three interlocking challenges. First, how family enterprises can harness innovation — particularly digital transformation and AI — without eroding the cultural identity and craftsmanship that distinguish them.
